Niagara Awards “A Tribute to Women”: The Niagara Awards is a recognition event bringing together women from across Niagara County. It is the primary fund raising event supported by the YWCA Board of Directors.

A Tribute to Women” will be held this year on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Conference Center Niagara Falls. The Reception is at 6:00 and Dinner at 7:00.

The Niagara Awards are presented to an individual or organization who exemplifies the philosophy of the award.

Philosophy of the Niagara Awards: The Niagara Awards recognize an individual or business whose actions have inspired opportunities in Niagara County for women's growth, leadership and empowerment. The honoree exemplifies the shared vision of peace, justice, freedom as well as the belief that all people have inherent worth. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the YWCA of Niagara’s programs for women and children.
