Niagara Awards “A Tribute to Women”: The Niagara Awards is a recognition event bringing together women from across Niagara County. It is the primary fundraising event supported by the YWCA Board of Directors. The Niagara Awards are presented to an individual or organization who exemplifies the philosophy of the award.

The 2010 Niagara Awards is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, at 6 p.m. at The Conference Center Niagara Falls, 101 Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls, N.Y.

The honoree exemplifies the shared vision of peace, justice, freedom as well as the belief that all people have inherent worth. Net proceeds from the event benefit the YWCA of Niagara’s programs for women and children.
