The YWCA of Niagara is already gearing up to participate in the next Stand Against Racism scheduled for Friday, April 29, 2011. We thank those who participate in the 2010 Stand and encourage all participants to join next year's event as well as encourage others to join.

    The Stand is a national movement of the YWCA that aims to eliminate racism by raising awareness through its annual event. Numerous local school districts, organizations and individuals joined the YWCA of Niagara, its Lockport and Niagara Falls program sites in the annual event. Organizations and individuals from across the United States are invited to become participating sites by hosting their own stand.
